FAQ

The questions businesses actually ask us.

Straight answers, no hedging. If yours isn't here, just ask.

Will Zone Ten send things out without me seeing them?
No. Zone Ten prepares the work — drafts the emails, builds the quotes, writes the invoice chasers — and hands everything to you to approve. Nothing the admin agent sends leaves without your nod — that's not a toggle, it's how it's built. The deliberate exception: chatbots and voice agents answer customers live, from the script and facts you approved when we built them.
Will this replace my staff?
No — and if you want it to, we're the wrong supplier. Zone Ten takes the jobs your people never wanted: the 9pm enquiry, the third caller in the queue at half eight, the invoice that's been "due next week" for a month. Your receptionist stops apologising for the phone and gets on with the work they were hired to do. If your team is stretched, this is how you avoid the next hire — not how you cut the ones you have.
What happens if Zone Ten makes a mistake?
Occasionally it will — anyone who tells you their AI never gets it wrong is lying to you. That's exactly why the approval step exists: you see everything before a customer does, so a mistake means a ten-second edit, not an embarrassing email. And Zone Ten learns from your edits, so repeat mistakes get rarer instead of routine.
How is my data handled?
Your data stays yours, held under your control, and it is never used to train public AI models. Zone Ten only accesses what it needs to do the jobs you've given it, and nothing is sent anywhere without your approval. If you leave, your data comes with you — it was never ours.
Where is it hosted, and will you sign a DPA?
Yes, we'll sign a data processing agreement — ask and we'll send one before you commit to anything. The specifics: this website and anything you send it run on a single server we administer ourselves, not a scattering of third-party SaaS tools, and the files holding your details are readable only by the one account that needs them. Everything in transit is over TLS, enforced, with no unencrypted route to the site at all. We are not going to tell you it is encrypted at rest, because on this setup it isn't yet — we would rather you heard that from us than assumed it. The only sub-processor for the AI itself is Anthropic, whose commercial terms mean your data is not used to train their models; processing may happen outside the UK under their standard contractual safeguards — and if even that is more travel than your data should do, our Private AI setups keep personal details, or everything, on your premises. For client work, the systems we touch and what we do with them are set out in your service agreement. And we don't hold ISO 27001 or Cyber Essentials — plenty of suppliers imply certifications they haven't got, and we're not doing that. Full detail on the privacy page.
Can you run the AI without sending our data to the cloud?
Yes. Most clients run on the standard setup — Anthropic's commercial terms mean your data is never used to train their models, and we'll sign a DPA. But when the records are genuinely sensitive — a nursery's incident notes, a practice's client files — we can build your setup so names and personal details are stripped out on your premises before anything reaches the cloud, or run the model entirely on your own hardware so nothing leaves at all. All three setups are explained honestly on the Private AI page, including which one you actually need — which is usually not the most expensive one.
What does setup actually involve for me?
Less than you'd think. After the audit, we agree the first tasks to hand over, then we connect Zone Ten to your existing tools — usually a short call and some account access, and we do the technical work. Most businesses are live within days. You don't install anything, and you don't need to be technical.
Do I have to change the tools I use?
No. Zone Ten plugs into what you already run — your inbox, calendar, accounts and documents. Nothing gets ripped out or replaced. If your business runs on Gmail and a spreadsheet, Zone Ten works with Gmail and a spreadsheet.
How much does it cost?
One flat monthly price for the whole business, plus a one-off onboarding — not a per-seat licence that climbs every time you hire. The Admin Audit is completely free: no card, no obligation. The full breakdown is on Pricing & SLA.
Can I cancel?
Yes, with a month's notice. No long lock-in, no exit fee, no "retention specialist" phone call. If Zone Ten isn't earning its keep, you shouldn't be paying for it — and your data leaves with you.
You're a new company. Why should I trust you?
Fair question, and we'd rather answer it than dodge it. We're new and we say so — you won't find invented testimonials or stock-photo case studies here. What you will find: a free audit so the first proof you see is from your own week, a written SLA with fix times we're contractually held to, a month's-notice exit, and how your data is handled. We're asking you to risk two minutes, not your business.
What happens if something breaks?
You're covered by a written SLA that commits to a response time and a fix time — not just "we'll get back to you". On Zone Ten Core, urgent issues have a next-business-day fix target; same-business-day is Zone Ten Complete. The full table is on Pricing & SLA, and it's in your contract, not just on the website.
What kind of businesses is Zone Ten for?
Service businesses where the owner is also the admin department — accountants, dental practices, garages and trades like them. If your week runs on email, quotes, bookings and chasing, Zone Ten fits. See Who it's for.
